Meet Your Summit Host
Jared Romey
Host of Teacher Summits and the World Language Teacher Summit, creator of Speaking Latino, and founder of the Spanish Teachers Community.
I have been around educators all my life. My mother worked in schools as a teacher’s aide starting when I was 6 or 7. My aunt spent her entire career as an elementary school teacher, and my mother-in-law was a middle and high school history teacher. My sister-in-law is a French and Spanish teacher.
And yes, even I had a brief stint as a university professor!
I love learning, and just as importantly, I love helping others learn. Whether it’s through my books on Spanish dialects and slang (12 of them so far!), helping my sons explore and experience new things, or through the educator summits I’ve been organizing since 2019, it’s been wonderful to support teachers, educators, and the learners they reach.
Somewhere near 100,000 teachers (honestly, I’ve lost track) have benefited from our online conferences, which means millions of students are benefiting as well.
This Classroom Management conference addresses a topic I know many teachers struggle with. Educators from around the world will be sharing their wisdom, ideas, and experiences with you over the next few days.
Please join me and thousands of teachers for this first Classroom Management Teacher Summit!
